Moravian School and Wesleyan Academy take on pilot project

Students at Moravian School and Wesleyan Academy, in St. Thomas US Virgin Islands, took part in a pilot program on the island that introduced Palm Handheld computers in to the classroom.

Sixth grade students at both schools began using the handheld computers in September of 2004. throughout the 2004-2005 school year the students became proficient on Palms using the Goknow software package. Follow the links on the left to learn more about their work.

Virgin Islands and Washington State Teams up on Water Project

Students in Washington State teamed up with students in St. Thomas to work on a collaborative project exploring topics related to water in there environments.

Seventh Grade students get Techyes Certified

As technology skills proficiency becomes more of an issue, 3 classes of seventh graders demonstrate their knowledge and become techyes certified. The Techyes.net certification program is the brain child of Dr. Dennis Harper the founder of Generationyes.org.
