Comments on Techyes

The techyes project brought a complete turn-around for some of the students, when it comes to their interest in technology. Being able to create projects on subjects that they were most interested in helped to keep them interested in learning about computers. It was a awesome experience to see them take pride in their work! Meredith Blache, project lead teacher team

Palms in the classroom

No more lost note, notebooks or eaten homework, the Palms keep all of the students work in two places, on the Palm and on the PAAM internet site. The students have been excited about using the Palms in the classroom, and they love seeing their work online, so neat and organized.

My-ecoach reflections

"I learned more about My-ecoach and building web quests and finding projects in the e-library. When I was building the webquest it made me look for questions about what affects water quality in our area. It was interesting and fun." Karesha - 5th grade student - Moravian School

"I think that it is easier to learn from the internet than by a text book, because it is more fun. I learned what a watershed is and how pollution can harm the watershed. I liked working as a team as well. " Koi - 5th grade student - Moravian School

This was an awesome tool for learning. The students learned so much more than they would have out of a text book alone. It was great to see the students work in teams to accomplish their goals. The projects turned out even better than I had ever imagined.
